Serve

One of the best ways for us to develop authentic relationships is through serving together.  We invite you to find one of these opportunities to serve our Father alongside others at The Crossings.  For information regarding any of these opportunities, please email to serve(at)thecrossings(dot)cc

Children's Team:
Our children are extremely important to us at The Crossings.  We want to partner with the parent along the journey of family transformation.  We are always praying for God to provide called people who God has given a passion for seeing children learn and grow in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Set-up Team:
Each Sunday morning there is a team that gathers to create our worship environment.  There is very little heavy lifting but a significant amount of laughing.

Technology Team:
We worship in a multisensory sort of way at The Crossings.  If you enjoy computers and pushing buttons on large electronic devices then we have just the opportunity for you.  There are opportunities available in running the soundboard, directing the visual media, and much more.  We would enjoy equipping you for these opportunities.

First Touch Team:
This team is made up of those who enjoy meeting the newcomers who arrive on Sunday mornings.  If you enjoy meeting new people and seeing them welcomed into the church then this is a great opportunity for you.

Connection Team:
Our church is built on relationships.  Therefore, our ability to facilitate those relationships with new faces is very important.  If you enjoy meeting new people and establishing new relationships this would be the opportunity for you.  This team will follow up with each person that comes through our doors on Sunday.  This may be through a phone call, email, or taking food to their home to show our desire to welcome and serve.  We hope to make personal connections with each home that visits our community on Sunday mornings.

Prayer Team:
Before the first day of worship for The Crossings, God had called our church to be a people of prayer. Our vision statement paints the picture clearly. "We see a church that challenges spiritual mediocrity and complacency through prayer in conjunction, and upon conclusion of every ministry opportunity. We see a church that engages in prayer, corporately and in solitude, as intercessors for those hurting, serving, and rejoicing." We believe that God has brought and will bring people to our church that are passionate about prayer. If this crucial part of our church life speaks to you then please speak up and find out how you can be involved in this ministry effort.

Creative Arts Team:
Has God gifted you to paint, write, sing or contribute to His church through some other creative expression? We believe that God is the creator of creativity and He is worshiped through our gifts and talents being offered for His glory. We are always looking for various creative media to be used on Sunday and throughout the week. We would love to talk to you and partner with you to discover how your creative gifts can be used in His church.

Mercy Team:
This team serves as the hands and feet of Jesus to our local community in many ways. As we partner with ministries such as the Pregnancy Help Center and various other crisis ministries, this team is constantly looking for ways our church can be serve those in need. They are the first in and last out when the merciful hands of our Savior need to be felt around our community. If God has given you a heart and gift of mercy then please contact us regarding how you might help lead our church to be Jesus to the community around us.

Little Blessings Team:
It is nothing out of the ordinary for our church to have a steady flow of new babies. This team of servant-hearts displays the love of Christ by locking arms with our new moms through meal coordination and various other hands of help. If you have been there before or maybe just have a special place in your heart for a new mom who is struggling to find normalcy and sleep, then this is a great opportunity for you to contribute to the life of His church, The Crossings.
