Mothers: Builders of the Faith

Mothers have always played a powerful role in building and shaping the faith of generations. In this series, we’ll look at how God uses the love, strength, and prayers of mothers to lay foundations of faith that last. Whether you’re a mom, a grandmother, or someone shaped by the influence of a godly woman, these messages will remind you of the deep spiritual impact of motherhood and encourage you to keep building lives of faith one heart at a time.

Day 5: Guiding People to Find and Follow Jesus

The heart of the Great Commission is relational. Jesus didn’t just command us to teach — He called us to walk with others, guiding them to find and follow Him in the context of everyday life. That starts in our homes, but it doesn’t end there.

Whether you’re a mother, mentor, student, or friend, you’re called to be a guide — not by force or fear, but through genuine relationships, consistent love, and a life shaped by grace. When you disciple others, you multiply the work of the kingdom and reflect the heart of Christ.

Scripture: Matthew 28:18–20 (ESV)
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

Reflection:
Who is one person outside your usual circle that you can begin building a genuine relationship with, for the purpose of pointing them to Jesus.
