Lets Be About Our Kingdom Business!

Hey everyone,

I hope this note finds you all well! I’ve been thinking about how we often talk about the Kingdom of God as something we’re waiting for, but I’m reminded that it’s very much alive among us right now. Bear with me as I try to unpack this for us all, and hopefully, it’ll spark something meaningful for each one of us.

Remember when Jesus said in Mark 1:14, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand"? And how about that moment in Luke 17:20-21 where He tells us the Kingdom of God is "in the midst of you"? That brings it all close to home, doesn’t it? It means we don't have to wait passively for an amazing future when we can be a part of it today.

Our mission, straight from the Great Commission in Matthew 28:16-20, is to actively participate in building this Kingdom by making disciples and teaching God’s love and truth. It’s about seeing where we are now—as family, friends, neighbors—and realizing the impact we can have through love and service.

I know you’re all juggling a lot, but what if we viewed each action, no matter how small, as contributing to God’s presence here on earth? Whether it's lending an ear to someone in need, being present at church events, or sharing your faith in some simple way, it all matters.

So let’s tap into our collective creativity and see how we can manifest God’s love in our community. Got an idea? Let me hear it! Whether it’s organizing a small group Bible study, participating in one of our outreach projects, or finding a personal way to connect with others through prayer and support—every step counts.

I’d love to see us become more and more vibrant, really living this out together. And remember, you’re never alone; we’re all in this together, figuring it out and supporting one another as we go.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or ideas—we’re all ears, and I’m excited about what we can achieve together as a church family!

Much love and blessings,

Pastor Justin

Community Christmas Caroling

This past Sunday night, several folks from our church came together to share the joy of Christmas with our community. We divided into two groups—one sang at the gazebo near Domino’s Pizza in the shopping center, while the other walked through Brunswick Crossing spreading festive cheer.

Along with singing, we handed out cookies to everyone we met, and with every cookie, we included an invitation to join us at for a service or a meal at church. Please remember, as a church we are focused on outreach, this was a simple way to let people know they’re welcome and loved.

It was a wonderful evening! We sang, laughed, and connected with our neighbors, all while celebrating the hope we have in Christ. We’re excited to make this an annual event and pray it becomes a cherished tradition for the Brunswick community.

A big thank you to everyone who participated or stopped to listen. You made the night extra special!

Graves Family Christmas Card

Merry Christmas from the Graves Family!

As we celebrate this Christmas season, our family wants to express how deeply grateful we are to have served this church family for the past 13 years. It has been a joy and an honor to walk alongside you, sharing in God’s work through The Crossings Community Church.

This season, we pray that your hearts are filled with the peace and joy of Christ. As we look forward to the new year, let us all be bold and courageous in sharing our faith, shining His light in our community and beyond.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
With love,

Pastor Phil, Kristie, and the Graves Family
