Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 2: Obedience in the Small Things

Scripture: Acts 1:24
“And they prayed and said, ‘You, Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which one of these two you have chosen…’”

Reflection:
Even something as practical as replacing Judas was covered in prayer. The early church believed no decision was too small to bring before God. They wanted God’s will, not just their best guess. Healthy churches begin with people who ask God to lead every step.

Prayer:
Father, I want your direction in every area of my life. Show me where I’ve been relying on my own judgment instead of seeking you.

Challenge:
What decision are you facing right now? Pause and pray over it before doing anything else.
