Unstoppable:The Church on Mission
The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.
Day 5: A New Way to Measure Success
Scripture: Acts 2:42
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”
Reflection:
The early church didn’t chase numbers, fame, or comfort. They were focused on Scripture, community, prayer, and mission. And God used that faithfulness to multiply the church. What if we stopped measuring success by what impresses people and started measuring it by what pleases God?
Prayer:
God, shape my heart around your values. Teach me to be faithful, not flashy. Build something real in me.
Challenge:
Reflect on how you define success in your life. Ask God to reshape that view around prayer, obedience, and gospel mission.
