Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 1: Built on the Word

Scripture:
2 Timothy 3:16–17
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness…”

Reflection:
A healthy church begins with an unwavering confidence in God’s Word. The Bible is not just ancient literature—it is living, powerful, and completely trustworthy. When we drift from Scripture, we drift from truth. But when we stay rooted in it, we grow. The early church devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and it shaped every part of their lives. The same must be true for us.

Prayer:
God, give me a deeper love for your Word. Help me trust what you have spoken and shape my life around your truth.

Challenge:
Take 15 minutes today to read a passage of Scripture slowly and prayerfully. Highlight one verse to memorize this week.
