Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 2: Transformation Through Surrender

Scripture:
Romans 12:1–2
“Present your bodies as a living sacrifice… be transformed by the renewal of your mind…”

Reflection:
Real change comes when we surrender fully to God. Paul calls us to be living sacrifices—not just believers in our minds but followers with our whole lives. This kind of transformation does not happen overnight. It is often painful, requiring us to let go of comfort, habits, or opinions that do not align with God’s will. But the result is a life that is pleasing to God and conformed to His purpose.

Prayer:
Lord, I want to be transformed. Renew my mind and help me lay down everything that gets in the way of your will for my life.

Challenge:
Identify one area of your life where you are resisting change. Ask God to give you courage to surrender it.
