Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 3: Community is the Context for Growth

Scripture:
Acts 2:42
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship…”

Reflection:
Discipleship is not a solo journey. The early believers met daily, shared meals, and cared for each other. They prayed together, grew together, and served together. That kind of community takes time, trust, and intentionality. But it is how we grow. God designed us to need one another—to encourage, correct, carry burdens, and help each other follow Jesus.

Prayer:
Father, help me to invest in real Christian community. Make me someone who builds up others and is built up by others.

Challenge:
Reach out to someone in your church or small group this week. Schedule a time to talk, pray, or share a meal.
