Unstoppable:The Church on Mission
The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.
Day 4: Generosity Reflects the Gospel
Scripture:
Acts 2:45
“They were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.”
Reflection:
Generosity was a hallmark of the early church. Their giving was not based on percentages or guilt but on love. They understood that everything they had came from God, and they gave freely to meet needs. That kind of generosity flows from a heart transformed by grace. When we give cheerfully, we show that our treasure is in Christ, not in our stuff.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank you for giving everything for me. Help me to hold nothing back. Teach me to give with joy and faith.
Challenge:
Ask God to show you one way you can give this week—your time, your money, or your help—without expecting anything in return.
