Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 1: True Change Starts with Jesus

Scripture:
Acts 2:42
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”

Reflection:
The early church wasn’t focused on building a crowd. They were devoted to transformation. They gathered around the Word, committed to prayer, and invested in each other’s lives. And because of that, their lives changed. They became people who loved deeply, gave sacrificially, and lived with purpose. True church health isn’t about events or attendance—it’s about people becoming more like Jesus.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to be devoted to the things that truly change lives. Make me hungry for your Word and faithful in prayer.

Challenge:
Ask yourself if your faith feels more like a routine or a relationship. What is one way you can pursue deeper transformation this week?
