Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 2: See the Needs Around You

Scripture:
Acts 3:6
“But Peter said, ‘I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!’”

Reflection:
Peter didn’t walk past the hurting man outside the temple. He saw him. And more than that, he responded. We are surrounded by people with real needs—physical, emotional, and spiritual. It takes prayer, discernment, and compassion to notice them and respond with the hope of Jesus. We don’t have to fix everything, but we are called to care.

Prayer:
Jesus, open my eyes to the needs I usually miss. Help me see people the way you do and respond with love and wisdom.

Challenge:
Slow down today. Look for one person you can listen to, help, or encourage. Be intentional about noticing someone others might overlook.
