Unstoppable:The Church on Mission
The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.
Day 1: God Uses the Ordinary
Scripture: Acts 4:13
“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.”
Reflection:
Peter and John didn’t have advanced training or social standing. What they had was Jesus. Their boldness came not from themselves but from His Spirit. God loves to use those the world overlooks to display His power.
Prayer:
Lord, remind me that my qualifications do not limit You. Use my weakness to show Your strength.
Challenge:
Write down one way you feel “ordinary” or unqualified. Offer it to God today and ask Him to use it for His glory.
