Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 1: God Sees the Heart

Scripture: 1 Samuel 16:7; Psalm 139:1–4
Devotional Thought: We can manage appearances, but we cannot manage our hearts before God. He sees motives as clearly as actions. This is not meant to crush us but to free us from pretending.
Reflection Question: What part of your spiritual life is most managed for public view, and what would honesty look like today?
Prayer: Search me, Lord. Reveal mixed motives and free me from pretending. Give me courage to live truthfully before You.
