Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 1: God Uses What Looks Like Defeat

Scripture: Acts 8:1–4
Devotional Thought: The church is scattered. Saul is ravaging believers. It looks like darkness is winning. But verse 4 flips the whole story. Those who were scattered preached the word. God used the pressure to push the gospel forward. What feels like disruption can become direction in the hands of God.
Reflection Question: What situation in your life feels like a setback that God might use as a new doorway?
Prayer: Father, help me trust You when life gets shaken. Use every hard thing to move me toward Your mission.
