Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 4: You Can’t Serve Jesus and Play With Darkness

Read: Leviticus 19:31
Focus: God forbids occult practices because He loves you.

God’s warnings aren’t control. They’re protection. He says don’t seek mediums, don’t chase the dead, don’t lean into spiritual sources that aren’t Him. That’s not God being harsh. That’s God being clear.

A lot of people want Jesus as a “piece” of their spiritual life. But Jesus isn’t a side dish. He’s Lord. You don’t mix Him with whatever else feels spiritual. You don’t pray to saints, dabble in tarot, use crystals for vibes, or chase spiritual experiences that the Bible never teaches. Not because you’re trying to be better than others, but because your soul matters.

Daily step: Clean house. If there’s anything in your home or phone that opens a door, remove it today.

Prayer: God, I want You, not spiritual substitutes.
