Psalm 51 & Repentance

Psalm 51 shows that real repentance is not trying harder but receiving God’s mercy. In this message we unpack how God opens our eyes, breaks our hearts over sin, and creates in us a new heart that restores joy, worship, and witness. Scriptures include Psalm 51, Acts 11:18, 2 Corinthians 7:10, Ezekiel 36:26–27, and 1 John 1:8–9.

Day 4: Create In Me A Clean Heart

Scripture: Psalm 51:10–12; Ezekiel 36:26–27
Devotional Thought: David asks for a new heart, not a tune-up. Renewal is God’s creative work within you, producing new desires and new power by His Spirit.
Reflection Question: Where are you asking God to erase the past but not remake your heart for the future?
Prayer: Creator God, make me new on the inside. Create in me a clean heart, renew a right spirit within me, restore the joy of my salvation.
Action Step: Memorize Psalm 51:10–12. Pray it over yourself morning and night for the next three days.
