Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 3: Jesus or Just Another Story?

Scripture:
Romans 10:9-10
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Reflection:
The resurrection is not a side note. It is the center. If Jesus is still in the tomb, then Christianity is meaningless. But if Jesus is risen, then he is Lord over life and death. Marvel characters and mythic heroes make for great stories, but Jesus is not a character. He is the Savior. And what we believe about him is the difference between life and death, hope and despair.

Prayer:
Lord, help me believe in my heart and confess with my life that you are alive. Let your resurrection shape everything I say and do.

Challenge:
Talk to a friend today about what you believe about Jesus. Share how his resurrection gives you hope.
