Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 4: Stop Being Lukewarm

Scripture:
Revelation 3:16
“Because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.”

Reflection:
Pastor Justin called out what so many of us drift into: a lukewarm, casual, comfortable faith. We talk more about politics, pop culture, and the latest drama than we do about the gospel. If Jesus is alive, that deserves our full attention and loyalty. The early church risked everything because they believed Jesus walked out of that grave. If we believe the same, then it is time to act like it.

Prayer:
Jesus, I confess the times I’ve been distracted or indifferent about you. Rekindle my faith and make it impossible for me to stay silent about what you’ve done.

Challenge:
Examine your last 10 conversations or social media posts. What are you really talking about most? Make it a point today to share something about Jesus with someone.
