Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 1: Power Over Programs

Scripture: Acts 5:12

Devotional Thought:
The early church gathered at Solomon’s Portico without budgets, buildings, or brand strategies, yet God moved mightily. They didn’t need the polish of a program because the presence of God was enough. When God’s Spirit is at work, lives are changed, hearts are healed, and miracles happen. Programs can be tools, but they are never the source of power. The Spirit is. Revival starts not with clever planning but with a humble people hungry for God.

Reflection Question: Where have you substituted planning for prayer in your life or ministry?

Prayer: Lord, center me on Your presence. Teach me to seek You first and serve from Your power.
