Unstoppable:The Church on Mission
The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.
Day 2: Holy Fear That Draws
Scripture: Acts 5:13
Devotional Thought:
Holy fear is not panic or terror. It is the clear awareness that God is real, present, and holy. That awareness changes the way we live. The early church saw that reverent fear purify the body and make the gospel magnetic to the watching world. People weren’t drawn to gimmicks but to the reality of a God who was unmistakably among His people. When we recover awe, we recover authenticity, and our witness becomes powerful.
Reflection Question: How would a deeper awe of God change the way you worship and witness this week?
Prayer: Father, give me a heart that trembles at Your word and moves toward Your mission.
