Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 1 — When Light Gets Bright

Scripture: Acts 5:17–20
Devotional Thought: The apostles are jailed for preaching Christ. In the night an angel opens the doors and sends them back to the public square. Opposition is not a sign to retreat. It often confirms that the light is reaching dark places.
Reflection: Where have you mistaken resistance for a closed door when it may be a call to faithful persistence?
Action: Revisit one conversation, invite, or initiative you paused because it got hard. Take one next step today.
Prayer: Lord, steady my heart when resistance rises. Send me again where you sent me first.
