Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 4 — Submission with a Spine

Scripture: Romans 13:1–7; Titus 3:1–2
Devotional Thought: Christians honor authority because God is not a God of chaos. Submission is our default posture, not because rulers are perfect, but because God is wise.
Reflection: Where have you cultivated a reflex of cynicism toward leaders rather than a habit of honor and prayer?
Action: Choose one authority over you. Pray for them by name and send one note of thanks or cooperation.
Prayer: King of kings, teach me to honor those you place over me. Correct my pride and use my respect as a witness.
