Unstoppable:The Church on Mission
The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.
Day 1: God’s Work Cannot Be Stopped
Scripture
Acts 5:38–39
Read
Gamaliel reminds the council that movements built on human power collapse. If this work is from God, you cannot overthrow it. The gospel is not fragile. Your calling does not rest on approvals, trends, or easy roads. God carries His mission.
Reflect
Where have I tied my peace to outcomes I cannot control?
Pray
Father, steady my heart in Your purpose. Teach me to work hard and rest in Your rule.
Live It
Write one fear you carry about the future. Under it write: “If this is of God, it will stand.” Bring it to prayer tonight.
