Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 5: Build on the Rock

Scripture: Matthew 7:24
“Everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”

Reflection:
Storms are coming. Jesus didn’t say “if”—He said “when.” What you build your life on matters. His Word is the only foundation that holds. Obedience is not legalism—it’s wisdom. It’s what keeps us standing when everything else crashes.

Prayer:
Jesus, I want to build my life on you. Teach me to trust and obey. Make me wise in how I live.

Challenge:
Choose one area of your life—relationships, finances, priorities—and ask: Am I building this on Jesus, or on something else?
