Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 2: The Blessing in the Pushback

Scripture: Matthew 5:11–12
“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you… Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven…”

Reflection:
The church often grows stronger under pressure. Like the story of Pastor Tilahoon, persecution can deepen faith and fuel boldness. The blessing is not in the pain itself, but in the love, courage, and unity God produces through it.

Prayer:
God, give me courage to stand for You, even when it’s unpopular or costly.

Challenge:
Think of a situation where you can take a stand for your faith this week. Ask God for boldness.
