Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 3: Salvation in Christ Alone

Scripture: Ephesians 2:8–9
“For by grace you have been saved through faith… not a result of works…”

Reflection:
We can’t add anything to the finished work of Jesus. Obedience, service, and worship are the fruit of salvation, not the cause. Holding on to the simplicity of the gospel frees us from legalism and keeps the focus on Jesus.

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for saving me by grace. Keep me from adding burdens to myself or others.

Challenge:
Examine your heart for areas where you are trying to “earn” God’s favor. Lay those down in prayer.
