Unstoppable:The Church on Mission
The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.
Day 1: Run to Your Friends
Scripture: Acts 4:23–24
When they were released, they went to their friends… and lifted their voices together to God.
Devotional Thought:
When pressure hit, the apostles ran to community, not isolation. Healthy Christians and healthy churches move toward trusted friends who pray, listen, and stand together under God’s Word.
Reflection Question:
When hardship hits, do you withdraw or move toward prayerful friends? Who are your “go-to” people in the church?
Prayer:
Lord, help me run toward gospel friendships. Knit my life into a praying community.
