Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 4 – Faithfulness at Home and With Money

Scripture: 1 Timothy 3:10–13; Luke 16:10

Devotional Thought:
Deacons are to be tested first. They must manage their households well and handle money with integrity. This is not about being rich or having a picture-perfect family. It is about being faithful where you are. Are you honest with what you have? Do the people closest to you see you as steady, loving, and trustworthy? The way we handle little things at home, with our kids, our spouse, and our budget, reveals how we will handle the bigger things in the church.

Reflection Question:
What do your home life and habits with money say about your readiness to carry spiritual responsibility for others?

Prayer:
Lord, help me be faithful in the small, unseen places. Teach me to manage my home and my resources in a way that honors You and prepares me to serve others well.
