Unstoppable:The Church on Mission

The book of Acts is the story of how the Holy Spirit used ordinary people to launch an extraordinary movement—the Church. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the mission of God moved forward through bold preaching, sacrificial living, and Spirit-empowered obedience. That same mission is still alive today. In this 15-week series, we’ll walk through the book of Acts and discover how God wants to use us—right here, right now—as part of His unstoppable plan to bring hope to the world.

Day 5: No Benchwarmers in the Kingdom

Scripture: Acts 8:4; Matthew 28:19–20
Devotional Thought: Acts 8 does not leave room for passive Christianity. The scattered believers did not wait for the pastor to do the work. They carried the gospel themselves. If you belong to Jesus, you have been commissioned. You have a role. You have a mission field.
Reflection Question: What is one step you will take this week to move from sitting on the sidelines to stepping into obedience?
Prayer: Father, light a fire in me again. Use me right now, right where I am, to point people to Jesus.
