Meet Pastor Justin

Justin Wyckoff is the Senior Pastor and Lead Church Planter of The Crossings Community Church in Brunswick, Maryland. He founded The Crossings with a single conviction: that Brunswick deserves a church where people can find real answers, genuine community, and a faith built on something that does not move. Justin is an expository preacher, which means he teaches verse-by-verse through books of the Bible rather than jumping from topic to topic. He believes the text itself has more to say than any preacher can come up with on his own, and his job is to open it up clearly and faithfully for the people in front of him. Before planting The Crossings, Justin was shaped by years of ministry experience and personal formation that gave him a pastor's heart for people on the margins: the skeptical, the broken, the overlooked, and the searching. Those are the people he built this church for. Justin serves under the spiritual oversight of Pastor Josh McClain and the elders of Hagerstown Church, the sending and sponsoring church that launched The Crossings. He is also the President of B.E.A.C.O.N., a Brunswick-based nonprofit that serves neighbors in crisis with dignity and practical care. Justin and his wife Maggie lead the church together. Maggie serves as the worship leader and brings both musical gifting and pastoral warmth to everything she does.
